ANDRES IZQUIETA & JUAN JARAMILLO
While Andres was born in Los Angeles, and Juan in Ecuador, both of our parents are from Ecuador. Our bond was formed over the love of our Latin roots and culture, and forming this into a company that brought this energy to the world.
We wanted to create a brand that would take you to our cultural traditions, and also represent the new generation of Latin culture; a blend of different people, languages, and of course reggaeton! Our mission was inspired by merging sustainability + social impact, with culture + community, into products in the health + wellness world...the Chiki was born! The vibras and sazón all formed into one... Chiki Chiki Boom Boom.

Our beverage is an AGUA TROPICAL blend primarily made up of organic botanicals and hydrating Latin flavors. It contains 3g sugar, 20 calories and is filled with antioxidants and vitamins. Packed with sazón, batería & reggaeton!
THE VALLEY OF LONGEVITY
Our beverage recipe was born 500 years ago in Vilcabamba, Ecuador, otherwise known as the Valley of Longevity. The region has many centenarians that accredit their long life to this beverage, with the urban legend being, "for every time you drink this, you live one day longer."
The area is one of the most biodiverse places in the world, as it sits between the Amazon and the Andes, under the equator and has one of the best climates on the planet.

We at Chiki love reggaeton, its blend of many styles & influences is similar to the Chiki brand, product & even our name... Chiki Chiki Boom Boom!
For those curious about our name origin... Chiki in Spanish is slang for "baby", and boom, well is "boom" in English. As our co-founder Andres states, "I've spoken 3 languages fluently my whole life; English, Spanish, and Spanglish. The art of speaking Spanglish led me to use the term 'Chiki Chiki Boom Boom' many years prior to starting Chiki, where the phrase represented celebration."
